There are words incomplete on pages,
Dreams of big life stages,
Plans that never made wages,
Hope and love all faded in grays.
Unwritten letters and poems with dwindling song,
Undone concepts with nowhere to belong,
Broken and destroyed along,
The last moments of being strong.
Unfinished things, wounded memories,
Half stories, and books of letters,
All left unfinished things.
Chorus:
Unfinished words lead to the unspoken,
Unfinished conversations make a heart broken,
Unfinished relationships and one sided motions,
All lead to the unfinished love and devotions.
Don’t leave things unfinished…
Never leave the words behind…
