On Mermaid Day, the ocean sings
As mermaids dance with their fishy fins
Their tails shimmer with iridescent hues
And pearls adorn their flowing hairdos
They glide through the water with effortless grace
Their voices enchanting, like a mystical trace
The waves obey their every command
As they swim towards the coral sand
Seashells and starfish decorate their homes
In underwater caves, where they freely roam
A world so magical, it's hard to believe
A place where the mermaids can truly breathe
On Mermaid Day, we celebrate
These mythical creatures, so kind and great
We honor their beauty and their strength
And hope that they swim with us at any length
So raise a glass to the mermaids below
And let their magic continue to flow
May we always treasure their oceanic realm
And the stories of mermaids at the helm.

I just got reminded of the mockumentary Animal Planet did about mermaids. Man, that was dope. I hope that we get to see something that like again get made soon, fictitious or real.
