She sat down out by the lake
With her feet deep in the sand,
And her hair blowing in the wind
And, oh, that cool lakeside
breeze
It just could not be replaced.
The sun beat on down
And 'cause she felt so carefree,
She dove right on in.
Something in that season's air
It changed her views on all her
cares.
But that sun would soon set,
Summer would come to an end,
Yet she would hold on
She had learned how to live;
She would remember forever.
Thank you so much for reading!
