Unbearable

Self-doubt, relationship doubt, the usual with a side of fries.

[The video includes a short analysis on what Unbearable is all about. This includes the process, the inspiration, and the reason behind the ears. Since the original poem did not meet the 100-word minimum count as per Vocal's standards, I have since added extra stanzas that are not a part of the video. I have chosen not to re-record to add them.]

Sittin' here with bear ears on,

Sittin' here,

'an writing a letter.

Stopping myself,

'Cause you ain't gon' like it,

'an you ain't gon' read it.

12-somethin' AM,

and I think we're awfully doomed... as friends only.

Is that so bad?

The world seems to hate friend-zones,

but it's harder

when you've fallen from failed romance.

What are we, man?

Right now.

What are we?

What are we?

Are we failure yet to be admitted?

Are we holding on to nothing,

pretending all will be fixed

after graduation?

What do we mean to each other,

when all the little efforts

seem more like empty steps,

and we're used to each other

'til something better comes?
