Twisted Truths: The Perils of a Perfect Day

Exploring the Dark Side of Life's Journey

The day was bright, the sky so blue,

As I walked along, with nothing to do,

The birds were singing, the flowers in bloom,

And the world seemed perfect, with no hint of doom.

But as I walked, my mind began to wander,

And thoughts of darkness, began to ponder,

For in this world of beauty, lies a darker side,

Where secrets and lies, can no longer hide.

The truth can be cruel, and the heart can deceive,

And what once was pure, can so easily leave,

The twisted ending, to a perfect start,

Can leave one shattered, with a broken heart.

For life is a journey, with twists and turns,

And what once was love, can so easily burn,

The road ahead, can be so unclear,

And what we thought we knew, can disappear.

So hold on tight, to what you hold dear,

For the end is not always, what we hope or fear,

And in this twisted tale, of life and strife,

We must keep moving forward, with all our might.
