It was the Best of Times

It was the Worst of Times

Don Lemon had made it sound like the end of Times

Corner Store Prophets told it Best

Although you could've heard it from your Auntie who used ta study out West

Waggin' her finger and flapping her gum about paying things to Caesar but remember those verses chile how in the End God's judgment was sure to come

But this time like last time won't be any fun.

So when the epidemic became a pandemic we unmasked a new killer; while night watch still got us nigga's hangin' tough, bitches are literally arguing over who really got it rough

And we still got the Aristocrats and Bureaucrats squabbling over who should eat first when Kap had to show them why we kneel. But really God after all this we all got a bubble in our breastbone that reiki just can't seem to heal

The same ONES crying this can't be us is now fighting that deadly virus in the chest; is the same reason we want to strap up and wear a bullet proof vest.

And Bless Me Father, Are You In Again? I know I ain't Catholic but I ain't sin again, not for this much pain and suffering and then
