Oh Manchester airport, why do you tease?

With your endless delays, my patience you squeeze.

I have work in the morning, I need to rest,

But thanks to you, I'll be a zombie at best.

*

Oh Manchester airport, can't you see,

The toll your delays take on people like me?

With every announcement our hope dwindles away,

As the departure time keeps getting delayed.

*

Oh Manchester airport, please hear our plea,

And get us in the air, where we're meant to be.

We'll forgive you this time, but please take heed,

For we need to arrive on time, and not just dream and plead.
