It doesn’t matter what you say as long

as your voice keeps echoing

across all social media channels

you are sure to end up being some

psychopath’s beacon.

I envy your dead star ways.

You can always bring that

vise grip gravity to the air

light moments.

Many recoil from your brutish

truth. But for me you are the

stiletto reality check between the

ribs. A glimpse into the thrill of

the plunging roller-coaster ride or

the horror of its derailment.

I understand the fear but turning

your back on the train won’t make

it go away regardless of what Iron

Age fairy-tale you pray to.
