It's never done

There is one person

That always has my number

She has never encumbered

It feels so isolating

I am just as guilty

For participating

It begins

The sensation and feeling spins

As I allow her to win

The complete takeover

Swallows me whole

As I navigate

While losing all control

As the screeching

Of her voice

Send tingles up my skin

It’s the battle I never win

Yet the one game

I always fall in

Just when I think

I’ve learned all its ways

The trigger tags me

And begs me to play

Just when I think

I might have won

The trigger

Reminds me

It’s never done
