Transgender Rights

Just like a Basilisk

Slithering through the magical land

Harry Potter killing it swiftly

Trump killed our rights

quickly and without thoughts

The mythical life of the creatures

Thought of in childhood

Torn apart by the slithering Basilisk

The face breaking the silence

Creating some on the other side

Many of us dying

Being murdered by the ignorant

From lack of care

Creating fame in the eyes of the community

Do we really exist?

Just like a Griffin

From an odd mythical movie

Our rights have been taken without our will

Someday this work will end

What will we be known for?

The slithering snake

Or the Unicorn

Granting rights or taking away

Murdering or letting us stay
