To Make You Feel Alone
There's nothing like somebody...
Miles away we are distant as water
Sweeping miles past shores and far lands
You're feet away
And all I can do is cry
My oh my .
Yeah, I cry softly
'Til it's too big
And loud, the crack of thunder
Of shocks that wreck my shoulders
water making porous
rocks of my eyes
all I can do is cry.
Inches or miles,
It doesn't matter
the image of us
Torn like thunder
'Cause it's coming down on a Friday morning
No
There's nothing like somebody
To make you feel alone
No there's nothing like somebody
To make you feel, alone
Like there's no one home
We walked together down roads
Apart on our own islands
On the horizon, we stumbled on towards home
tired of being alone
But it's coming down on this Friday morning,
You've melted in my hands
will you understand ,
we can't protect Us from ourselves
I'll be miles away, by your side
Or else I'll hide .
There's nothing like somebody to make you feel alone
No there's nothing like somebody to make you feel alone
No sometimes no body is better alone.
Oh Oh oh
And there's nothing like somebody to make you feel alone
Lights are out, you're there
but there's no one home
No there's nothing like somebody to make you feel alone .
