Tis a gloomy day,

when Religion fell in love with Science.

Two languages singing the same song,

however, their chorus would always bite.

One soul is ancient, one, modern,

however twins made from the same mind of gold.

Leaders of suffering mortals in their millions,

makes the sleepless Time grow old.

One built temples and churches,

One, modules and mass,

however, two with lustful eyes, gaze at the same starlight sky

and Her everlasting stories that last.

Oh how the two grown,

from childhood fantasies to mankind tragedies.

I would watch how they would ignite passion with swords,

and I would learn of the lovely Clio's tests of parted mortalities.

I would see them,

galloping within hilltops and plains.

Forgetting the lessons of Clio

and the warnings that Kronos explains.

So naïve them two,

one chasing the other.

Equals in wisdom, equals in wit,

neglecting their own calamity which they smother.

And when they do fight, they do not just argue

they summon gloomy days,

blood is the only expense

in which man has to pay.

However, as the Fates have it,

that, at last, they had dawned an alliance.

But, tis a gloomy day,

that Religion fell in love with Science.
