the mist rose in rain,
drifting soft, an emblem of
lovers’ thirst unquenched
Wish
O, Love, fill those eyes-
warm as sun; as sea, profound-
eyes of whom I love.
sleeping next to you
contented the smile
on the face scarce obscuring
dreams of thee only
