Those thoughts

Those thoughts

Spending time with those thoughts...

You know the ones.

The ones that only tend to surface when you have too much free time on your hands.

Those thoughts that make you physically ache, and there’s no one to talk to about it, because there’s no one who understands.

I find these thoughts causing irrationality and vulnerability.

I see them as a catalyst for unnecessary pain, keeping me grounded, limiting my mobility... literally killing me.

Sometimes they take a small break, and I can keep them at bay, but they’ll be back - ready to attack with just as much force.

I can only hope that eventually those thoughts will fade away, never to return again.
