We all have times in our lives when things look dark. Hold on to the things that keep you going in these times. Time changes all things. Try to look on the bright side. Hope will get you through the dark times.
Things Change
When you are down,
Look around and find
The one thing that keeps you going.
Find the one thing that makes you strong.
With time these lows will pass.
Nothing in this world ever lasts.
Keeping going knowing
There is always hope.
Things change each day.
You just have to stand strong
It will not take too long.
Hope and dreams come true.
Try not to be blue.
See things in a new light.
On your darkest days.
Dream of fresh ways
To make the darkness
Go away.

Something visited at night
I used to experience disturbing paranormal events as a teenager, but thankfully they stopped as I grew older. When I was around 20 years old, I started having vivid nightmares and episodes of sleep paralysis when sleeping in my bedroom at home. I would wake up unable to move, feeling a heavy pressure on my chest, and see terrifying visions of shadowy figures approaching me. My parents told me it was just sleep paralysis, but it kept happening frequently and felt very real.
