They're Inside

Ants in the bathtub

Rats in the walls

Spiders in the cracks

I can hear them all.

Scratching at the doors.

Tapping on the windows.

The light is fading.

They're coming through the vents,

And the holes in the floor.

Shadows in the hallways.

Voices in your head.

Try not to scream.

Hold your breath.

They're in your skin

You can feel them move.

You can feel them crawl.

You feel them inside your brain

They're behind your eyes.

You're going crazy.

You're going insane.

You claw at yourself.

You want to remove your skin.

You slit your wrists,

You try to bleed them out.

But you can't get away.

There's no escaping your demons
