Are Crippling

They say silence can be the loudest noise.

And I agree with a little bit of regret.

Because I can not escape the noise.

You shot rounds of silence into my life.

They are deafening to my scenes.

I no longer see clearly.

The pieces have shattered my vision.

I have the hearing of an elderly person now.

I can no longer hear “I love you's"

The taste of chocolate words are just dry, not sweet

I would never taste the poison in wine.

Speaking is the most difficult of them all.

The cracking sounds of my soft voice have worsened.

I wish I never fell for any of your trap.

Maybe today I would see clearly.

Maybe today the I love you's would be here.

Just maybe I could taste chocolate from a dear friend.

Or speak words of joy without the pain.
