There's a life offline

(original song lyrics)

Birds fly high, through golden skies

Silence settles like a pause in time

Shadows falling on the tallest trees

We don’t see with our own eyes, we don’t think with our own minds

Reality is confined, in a screen that stays online

And the kids won’t learn to surf the waves they do that page to page

There’s a life offline

We all chase the things that we can’t hold

Share a like, to let them know your thoughts

Whatever happened to being young and free

Creating pillow forts and hide and seek

We’re all rushing through the golden years

Just always playing catch up ….

We don’t see with our own eyes, we don’t think with our own minds

Reality is confined, in a screen that stays online

And the kids won’t learn to surf the waves they do that page to page

There’s a life offline
