Worries, I have more than a few,

and the strain, something I feel.

I know that you do too,

have worries that make us real.

A day in worry like seven days in hell,

for without that worry, what would we do?

Worry drags the soul as the eyes well,

leaving our lives surrounded by that darkness too.

Signed up for it, I admit that I did,

never expecting that worry would become so long.

Lives change, decisions so sordid,

all that worry caused by things done wrong.

Eyes running with that flow of tears

face worn and aged.

Worry makes you feel beyond your years

and it fills everything around you leaving no breathing space.

My heart aches from the worry I do,

never seeming to know any peace.

Feeling like it is a walk through fiery hell,

just to earn a peaceful sleep.

Wondering why I yearn for the end,

it's because of all the bloody worry, my friend.

The tears of worry meaning I have not yet my end.
