the world changes around us
but people stay the same
history is full of broken hearts
history is full of rebels
history is full of thinkers
history is full of friend groups
history is full of dreamers
history is full of hard workers
history is full of heroes
history is full of the unexplainable
history is full of cruelty
history is full of conflict
history is full of moral superiority
history is full of creators
history is full of people who just want to be left alone
everyone alive gets used to the way things are
and forgets the world changes every day
we either adapt or fight against it
until the next generation doesn't like what we settled on
and so the cycle continues
we think our experiences are unique
but it's all happened before
