Flowing Slowly with the gentle breeze,

Comes the call of winters freeze.

All begin to fill their homes until the top,

with hardy food from this year's crop.

This bounty will favor them oh so well,

Once winter rings it's ever resounding bell.

Soon all is quiet but the falling of leaves,

As trees quickly roll up their summer sleeves.

A sudden gust of wind pulls forth the chariot,

That will swing forth its weapon;a forever frozen lariat.

Quickly the tide turns from hot to cold,

But this isn't new; it's rightly very old.

It comes every year and we're always ready,

For time moves on like seasons, bold but steady.
