Love is simply indescribable... trillions of feelings like excitement, sadness, astonishingly happiness, the feeling of laughter so hard, so loud it hurts your stomach and shed a few tears. It can be unbearable but it can be the most beautiful yet important thing in this world. The feeling of falling in love with someone is like many butterflies flying around in your stomach making you happy, that unknown but desirable feeling of excitement, fear, fear of the unknown that’s coming next or within the next chapter of your lives. Love is extremely powerful... The best feeling is to know all your worries and all your sadness maybe of being alone is gone. You found your soulmate and it’s almost like your souls are intertwined together not perfectly of course but enough to feel perfect. You always know that’s going to be your forever best friend when no one else is there for you, your number one supporter on a daily basis, someone who is never going to leave your side especially after all you have been through together. Love is Beautiful. Love is Amazing. Love Teaches You Many Lessons in Life.

Food — taste, smell, sensation — is a powerful conduit to the past, to memories pleasurable and painful and sometimes bittersweet, a mixture of comfort and challenge. Congratulations to Penny Fuller for Sativa — it’s a first win for Penny — a hymn to the “secret, unbounded/freedoms” of fresh peas in the pod. The narrative voice of the poem doesn’t really want to be outside, but finds joy in the green things of the earth; this is a lovely work of resilience.
