As she awaited his return, her smile slowly faded,

Replaced by a river of tears that never ceased to flow.

Her breaths grew heavier, and her pace slowed,

Hanging onto the last bit of air, waiting for him to show.

With each passing day, her heart grew heavy,

Her hope fading, as she struggled to keep it steady.

But still, she clung to the promise of his return,

Holding on to her last breath, waiting for him to earn.

On the other side

Oh woman, you are a sight to behold,

A gem so rare and precious, worth more than gold.

With you by my side, I feel complete,

Forever in love, at your feet

ust keep in mind and wait.
