When I think about luck,

Based on chance ending up stuck

Defined as fate

An evening date

Where we both took two-way luring bait

And found a relationship that was great

Today I am in my tuxedo formal black

You are wearing white stating an honest fact

We welcome our family here

Offering, honest tears

A unity together

Suppose to last forever

Since it is you and me

Do you agree?”

“Yes, my love

I am at peace innocent as a dove

Flying around

In my wedding gown

Getting things complete

Fighting off emotional desire heat

While you, with buddies having fun

Celebrating the conquest, that is one and done

After we state our vows

Kissing to applause without a stage bow

Committed saying ‘I do’

And wearing rings that are true”

Later in the night

When romance flamed without a fight

Questions asked

About the pairs past

Now locked by ball and chain

Not supposed to complain

“Perhaps it is,

Better not to be, a Miss,”

She debatably sighed

Legally tied

By a spiritual esquire

Laying in the bed, sweating, and perspired

From interacting with each other

No worries now about being a mother

Next morning came

Both acted the same

Playing life’s game

Hotel serving complimentary bangers and mash

Bride counted her garter cash

Wishing both luck on the honeymoon

Vacation for the engaging couple soon

Driving away, car saying ‘Just Married’

She came to the reality grip, her life is with a guy name ‘Larry’

But it was better than the lonely honoring maiden

Who is still waiting

For the credit card to clear

Taking care of the payment for all the cheer

In a business world

Where boy meets girl

Taking time

Before signing the bottom line

Confirming that is all

To the Gentlemen making a call

And the fortunate lady winning the bachelor brawl
