Took a walk to the abyss of bliss
To find a star and give it a name
One that's free and not at all tame
A firefly star that dances away
That sparkles and dazzles and catches the eye
Moves gracefully elegant and flows through the sky
Dimming shy to playfully shining
A blue diamond star that will last forever
And so unique to the color
Boldly shines in a sea of dark
Gliding through nothing but leaving it's mark
A fiery rose star with petals ablaze
Passionately glowing so very red hot
Fiery waves that spiral about
Nothing anywhere could blot it out
Then there it was ablaze and dancing and leaving it's mark
A blue rose firefly and not at all far
Magnificent and gorgeous with wonderful color
Graceful waves that sparkled blue hot
Gliding here to there and dimming shy
To boldly dazzling the dark sky
Captivated by the elegant passion of it's petals
Knew it to be the star that was free
Now to give it a name and that name be....
