The tears that fall from a broken heart

Memories flood back with each drop Of the love that once made us feel on top But now it's gone, leaving us in a flop The tears we cry, never seem to stop

The tears that fall from a broken heart

Are a symbol of love's painful start

The wounds they leave, forever a part

Of the love that once had a beating heart

Memories flood back with each drop

Of the love that once made us feel on top

But now it's gone, leaving us in a flop

The tears we cry, never seem to stop

We try to move on, but it's not easy

Our hearts ache, and our souls feel uneasy

The love we had, now just a memory

Leaving us with nothing, but our broken hearts and teary.

But though the tears may fall like rain

And our broken hearts may feel the pain

We know that love will come again

And heal the wounds, and ease the strain.
