Dense foliage surrounds you.

The calls of birds echoes.

Along the trees there are colored geckos.

Stick to the path and stay true.

Soon all goes quiet

Not even a bug could be heard.

The new found silence was not preferred.

But in the deathly quiet she emerged.

A glimpse of stripes.

Then in the jungle the colors merged.

On the move to hunt

She soon corners her prey.

And you are lucky to be safe.

She stares with her wide eyes and leaves with a grunt.

You both know you can not stay.

Here she reigns supreme

The jungle is her domain.
