The Sacred Site
"Let it deliver thee to thy vivid dream, fill you luxuriously, And let it soothe thy old-man howl."
Oh, these venerated walls,
how they would utter of the faiths that abound.
Birthed from a reign of riches,
it stands still and embraces the earth shattering crowd,
its sons and daughters in spirit, oh how they would flock the womb!
They vessel her charmed structure,
to what is divinely profound,
so fat and satifisied,
with such starving delicacy that are found.
You, oh lone searcher,
who hounds
to drink deliciously of the mysteries that honeysuckle thy tongue.
Hear the gentle opera resound,
her ardent throat fertile with such adoration,
that swaddles the longing heart,
and shakes the holy ground.
Let it deliver thee to thy vivid dream,
fill you luxuriously,
And let it soothe thy old-man howl.
