The River Becomes A Waterfall

How's the journey?

The River Becomes A Waterfall

Coagulated together, a gush of water molecules flowing like a river,

piercing through tough terrains and meandering like a snake,

creating its own path, not afraid of the tough rocks or the big broken trees,

blocking its journey and lunging forward fearlessly,

into the unknown before reaching that jutted edge,

jumping fearlessly hundreds of meters and burbling on the surface,

creating something new with a new name.

That sudden adrenaline rush, how does the river feel?

surrounded by curious forests and awestruck mountains,

as it makes its way down for the first time,

scratched by a shiny rock or some protruding tree branches,

but it falls anyways with a surprising thud, awoken again,

probably hurt by the intensity, a bit bewildered,

before meandering back again, piercing through this new path,

babbling, rippling, trickling calmly through the new terrain,

seeking a new destination and probably for a bit,

staring back at the continuous flow it has created,

from atop that jutted edge, which is now layered by a shiny rainbow,

having this new name,

the waterfall.
