I was prepared to say your music saved my life

But I knew if I did, I would pay the price

I listened to your music because it was honest

Today would’ve been your best friend’s birthday

He took his life knowing he wouldn’t see another day

And 2 months later, you did the same

It’s like you were crying for help, making this a harder predicament

If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be writing this

You’re the wholesome reason I’m doing my own music
