With failure before her

The Whispers run free.

She must try again

So she cut the roots of her tree.

Planted in the ground

The Norns begin their ways.

The weavers of fate

String together the night and days.

With all the creatures

That live and die.

The Norns weave the outcome

As the Whispers fly.

With the seasons stabilized,

And the world set atoned.

Yggdrasil notices something

In the world has grown.

What was once Ape

Stood tall and vast.

Began to use a club

To kills its' prey fast.

It became smart

And vocalizes too.

Herds clinging together

As Humans stand true.

About the Creator

Mark Shaw

I began writing lyrics and stories back in high school. Even went as far as publishing a poem online and it being in a book. As with film a picture can say a thousand words and show emotion, but audio triggers that emotion.
