The Passengers

Poem

Along the bridge of transmigration,

The passengers walked slowly -

Above their heads,

Red sunset clouds were floating by.

Down below the bridge,

The crimson waves of the river

Were flowing like a dreamy heart.

The bridge ended on an unknown land

Covered by white fog and silky webs -

Ancient stones were lying on the ground

With mysterious symbols and letters

Painted by ancient colors, half-hidden under the dust…

The passengers found a road there -

The road leading to the magic mountain,

According to the legend,

That mountain has a cave

In which there is a magic fire, inextinguishable.

The passengers continued to walk

Through the gray wind of chilly night

To find the cave of magic fire...
