Murder wasn't normally her thing

But for him, an exception was made.

Murder wasn't normally his thing

But for him, an exception was made.

Exceptions were made.

They had settled into their thoughts.

Exceptions had to be made

An acceptance of who they'd become.

Each of them held the other

A little deeper, a little longer

Than ever before.

For their lives would change

Once they walked through that door.

As she held the knife, he the gun

Their actions never to be undone

Acceptance is all they felt

A quiet calm

His fate he sealed

When he threw the first stone.
