The memories of a love that once was

But now, all I have are memories of the past, A love that once bloomed, now withers fast. The pain of losing you, cuts me like a knife, And I'm left with nothing, but memories of life.

Memories of a love that once was,

Still linger in my heart, like a soft buzz.

I recall the laughter, the joy, and the bliss,

The tender moments, the love, and the kiss.

But now, all I have are memories of the past,

A love that once bloomed, now withers fast.

The pain of losing you, cuts me like a knife,

And I'm left with nothing, but memories of life.

I close my eyes, and I see your face,

Your smile, your touch, I long to embrace.

But you're gone, and I'm left all alone,

With memories of our love, now a distant tone.

I'll keep these memories, close to my heart,

And though we're apart, our love will never depart.

For in my mind, and in my soul,

Our love will forever, remain whole.
