We all have caused pain, we all have done dirt.

We all have been scorned, we all have been hurt.

We all have felt sunshine, we all have seen rain.

We all want love, we all know pain.

So much joy in the world, and to experience such sorrow.

Trying to make it through each day, no care for tomorrow.

Did you? Will you? Ever learn?

Will you see? As well as discern?

I choose to take what’s mine, no more waiting.

If I get it right, I can influence a generation.

We all made choices that got our life where it is.

We are all in our season. Yes, the one that ‘tis.
