I ran barefoot through the sand,

The cold water reached my feet,

My body was gasping,

I giggled as my little girl emerged again.

The love of the ocean embraced me, the insane!

~~~~
No matter my age, my soul, my gain,
I can run and feel the sea with disdain
Of any past, present, or future to come.
The waves of the ocean take my pain away.
~~~~

It was a mist of sand, water, rocks, the sky with a burning sun

That my eyes could not behave in this horizon,

It was there that I've felt my emotion

Rising as the waves were crashing, and I was gone.

~~~~
No fear of a past, present, or future!
I was alive, ready for another journey!
The love of the ocean embraced me, the insane!
I giggled as my little girl emerged again.
I was ready to catch my life's train.
A heart waved of hope, ocean's full!
The sea was my weapon, and I was grateful.
~~~~

The love of the ocean embraced my soul,

Cleared my mind, broke my fears.

I've had the courage to feel my tears.

Strength comes and goes, just like the waves.

~~~~
The love of the ocean comes from within.
