The Littlest Hamburger

Junior To Senior

Once a little Hamburger,

A junior in size,

was born into a restaurant

that was eager to try.

Its meat was well done,

and its veggies implied,

that this little hamburger

was juicy, not dry.

Wrapped up in some paper

that was flimsy at most,

was sealed with a label

that added to boast.

"Inside you will find,

a delicious new treat!

That is full of flavor,

it's subtle and sweet!"

It lay under heat lamps,

ready to fly,

that a customer might notice,

and interested to buy.

It sat there for hours,

the minutes flew by.

"Won't somebody come

and give me a try?"

Then all of a sudden,

came in such a clamor.

A couple of Stoners

whose hunger enamoured.

"I just have two bucks,

what choice do i have?

this hunger it pains me,

my stomach it stabs."

"Forsooth!" said the cashier,

"I have what you need!"

and showed them the menu,

to which they agreed.

The Littlest Hamburger

was picked up and then,

was placed in a bag

and dropped in a bin.

"Here is your food,

it'll be $1.97."

Was handed Two Bucks,

and then change was given.

And as he walked out,

much to their delight,

The Littlest Hamburger

found purpose that night.

So be like The Burger,

your purpose implied.

You're not just a wrapper,

what counts is inside.
