The Lemonade Stand

On a hot summer day, with the sun shining bright,

We set up our stand, with all our might.

With lemons and sugar, and cups lined up neat,

We were ready to sell, our delicious treat.

We shouted out loud, "Lemonade for sale!",

Our voices echoing, through the neighborhood trail.

We had signs and posters, to attract the eye,

The neighbors came by, with smiles on their face,

They praised our drink, and admired our stand,

The coins we collected, jingled in our pocket,

A world of achievement, that we will always cherish and respect.

The memories we made, on this sweet summer day,
