The heartache of a love that never healed

The heartache of a love that never healed,

Still echoes through the halls of time.

A wound that time has never sealed,

A pain that's never lost its shine.

The memories, they come and go,

Of what once was, and what could be.

A love that was so bright and bold,

But now, it's just a memory.

I thought that time would ease the pain,

That love and laughter would come again.

But all I feel is emptiness,

And a longing for what could have been.

I thought that love was meant to last,

But now, I see it was just a dream.

A love that was so full of grace,

But now, it's just a broken dream.

So I hold on to the memories,

And the heartache that still remains.

Hoping one day love will heal,

And the pain will fade away.
