Where I live one day can be golden and the next a storm and this is often the way life goes in general. Life can be a roller coaster. This is the only guarantee and the impermanence of life is the only certainty.

When we accept life's ups and downs we experience calm and solid ground. In turn we become rooted and secure even during periods of turbulence.

We can practice this rootedness walking and earthing connecting our bodies to mother earth. This can be done anywhere and takes no special training. What it does require is time and patience.

Carving time out of busy schedules is hard and life and time hurries fast. Taking time to create a schedule can be the start. Downtime on the weekends is crucial for stress management and this can be a great place to start. We need to get in touch with our own bodies.

When we get in touch we are able to tune in to find out what we need.

Listening to our own body while out in nature can be life altering. Solo dates are gifts that you will never regret I promise.

At first taking time from busy schedules make cause you stress. This takes some time and adjusting. Like every relationship the relationship you have with yourself and this world is an important one. Matter of fact it is the most important one.

The ground beneath your feet keeps you here connected and held by gravity. This makes us feel safe and regulated. When we get in our heads and stressed out we might feel like we are losing contact with the earth. If this happens, begin to witness your breathe and the sensations in your body. Come back home. Home is the vessel that you live in. Your earthly vessel is this body.

In your body feel it all. All of the elements are yours to experience and connect with. Let the wind, earth, water and fire be a natural remedy for renewal. Pause and let go of any tension or anxiety that your body is holding. Let the ground hold you here because darlings we are home.
