Our lives are but a fleeting glance,
A moment in time, a cosmic dance,
A brief spark in the endless night,
A flicker of hope, a beacon of light.
We're born into this world so small,
With eyes that see wonder in all,
We grow and learn, we laugh and cry,
And our hearts are open to the sky.
But time flies by, so quickly it seems,
And before we know it, we're chasing our dreams,
Our youth, a memory, a distant past,
And we wonder how time flew by so fast.
The middle years, with their ups and downs,
Are filled with love, with laughs and frowns,
And we build our lives, one brick at a time,
Creating our own little piece of the divine.
And as we age, we slow down,
Our hair turns gray, our wrinkles a crown,
We reflect on the life we've led,
And cherish the memories we've bred.
Our lives are but a fleeting glance,
A moment in time, a cosmic dance,
And as we look back on our life span,
We realize the beauty of being human.
For we've loved and laughed, and shed some tears,
And overcome obstacles, throughout the years,
Our life span may be brief, but it's been full,
And we're grateful for every moment, every pull.
So let us live, with purpose and grace,
And embrace each moment, with a smile on our face,
For our lives may be short, but they're oh so sweet,
And we're blessed to have them, every beat.
