The Fear

by Alfiya Laxmidhar 6 months ago in surreal poetry
Report Story

Existential in its nature

A picture captured in Paris

The fear of being here

One can only know the feeling

if you've walked along the treads of sorrow

Face the pain head on and strong

Becoming fear

That's the lesson

In the separation

I am blanketed in a thick black hole

Not knowing where to go

In what direction do I hear

My eyes have become blind

but I see a light

Yet my eyes cannot see

but there is a golden thread of love

Given in grace and supposed secret

But only secret for the ones that accept the truth

The mystical dance

Of facing fear

and transforming it into love
