The Dark Untouchables

Those are the ones I just couldn’t write.

I had them all there before me shining in

my brain.

An acoustic monster, a dark monologue, a demon

I just couldn’t prod even though it is standing right

in front of me every single day.

No scuba diving into those black oceans of my soul

for me. Fear is the titanium safe with the

long lost combination lock for those ones.

Probably best not to plunge into waters so murky and

treacherous that your mind won’t be able to claw its

way back to the light at the surface. Some dark whispers

are best left unspoken.
