You need not fear the wolf

When you travel through the wood,

Keep to the path to 'scape its wrath,

However red your hood.

Though marker crumbs may vanish

And the gingerbread invite,

If you eschew the urge to chew,

You'll make it through the night.

Though that sealed-up door is tempting,

See his beard is oh so blue;

You must away ere break of day,

Or else your tale is through.

Oh! Listen dearly children,

And in this you must not fail;

Your destiny is not to be

A cautionary tale.

Know every tale of magic

Has its bad mixed in with good,

But do not fear if wolves appear,

When you travel through the wood.
