Summer Time (Self-Love)

Summertime was good & bad... it was good but I was bad. I had been granted a wish for so long I had wished I had... here it stands, sits, laughs, and loves me all in front of me, yet I let the opinion of others take ahold of me... ahold of a situation that was bringing the very best out of me. Love so big everyone could see...

The mind is powerful and should not be used in matters of the heart... an unawakened little girl plotting her own failures and crash downs only to restart... restart the same cycle repeated because there is a lesson learned needed... so here she goes on the road of sorrow tomorrow to try to replace & erase.... the pain of holding on instead of facing that lesson & wearing that cape. Blurred illusions & undrawn boundaries... there were so many demons inside hiding the real me. Still blind being led by a religious prophet who lost her way—by the wayside who else was she to confide? Hopes, dreams and failed endeavors... lending my whole heart & accepting crumbs but deserving better.

Moments... seconds... minutes... years... she's wasted so much time & so many tears... tears of a clown when everyone IS around... turning her frown upside down to appease those around her... leeches coming in droves just because of her glow... giving out pure love but when she needed it folks served it cold—oh let the story be told... Constantly giving to achieve the unachievable... outside love... love comes from above & if He lives in I then I must learn how to live within me to achieve what I always knew true to be that pure love is possible... extremely reachable, you see? Take the journey with me to self love... so I can love I & then love you & we exchange that beautiful energy effortlessly. Realizations of what is void... of what is needed will take you on a spin... it will spin you into a whirlwind... a whirlwind that lifts you higher so don’t fret if u lose some "friends" in the end... just give it a twirl into the "deep within"...
