A summer leaf is falling

After running and rolling

I, drinking a cup of tea

Picture its too swift ending

By Sarah Dorweiler on Unsplash

A summer leaf is flying

Up in the sky and swirling

I, slurping toward the sea

Watch its slow tender swinging

A sum of thoughts fathoming

Under the clever weather

Easy go, clement twisting

Freedom with the air's blooming

The mind sets landmarks to cling

Calling the nether feather

For a move - for a fast sting

Giving a pretty landing

By Carolina Heza on Unsplash

A summer leaf is falling

After running and rolling

I, drinking a cup of tea

Down the fragrant vessel's ring

Soon sight its bottom ending
