Not too quickly not too slow
you will surely never know
another moment quite as low.
Don't think about what winter brought
that was all a train of thought
think about what autumn's got!
Judge the absence of the leaves
as you pray down on your knees
this is the day that's yours to seize.
Summer is a state of mind!
Go to sleep but take your time.
Oh, summer is a state of mind!
