You built me up so high, just to break me down.
Your harsh words were like the flames upon Pompeii
You watch me burn, you watched me suffocate.
You had torn all the pages of the book we both started to build
My screams were heard but never reached your ears
Agonizing pain as I witnessed my prospering city of the perfect daydreams as they were consumed by your infernos.
Smoke embedding into my very pores, sinking deep inside
Threatening my existence whilst I start to choke
But they fall upon your deaf ears for I no longer was warranted your care
You watched as I suffocated on your flames
