(i found this meta for this poem)

Stupid, foolish, girlish heart

How wonderful love seems

When it’s in bloom

Stupid, foolish, girlish heart

The love you hold is precious

But poison

Poison so sickly sweet

You pour and pour

Until your mouth

Is full

And you can no longer breathe

Stupid, foolish, girlish heart

You yearn for the fairy tale

(i’m so sick of wanting you)

But that tale never existed

Come crashing back down

Stupid, foolish, girlish heart

And taste the bitter fruit of reality

(i’m sick)

Shatter

Int o pi ec e s

Who are you?

I sung your praises

With my stupid, foolish, girlish heart

And i believed your lies

With my stupid, foolish, girlish heart

But the walls are up

Around the broken glass

And there’s no more room for you to enter

(please come back to me)

Stupid, foolish, girlish heart

You are a curse

(rip it out)

(no more)

(go fuck yourself)

(i can’t handle the kindness in your eyes)

heartbreak
