{a poem}

From one day came this love:

I, a moth; you, a flame.

Still we dance.

What is distance to a soul?

What is silence, but a vessel?

I feel you in my bones.

And I’ll keep on feeling you until the sun goes dark and the stars fall and time is no more.

As I wait for you to wake up, what is time when I know I would wait a thousand lifetimes if I had to?

To hear my name on your lips, to feel your heart next to mine and to find myself home in your arms.
